Purchased for a course...

The app itself is not terrible. Only main complaint I have is that its a nuisance to view lectures through Top Hat. In terms of other things, the ability to have discussions through the program as well as the possibility of being quizzed (also registers attendance) is rather useful. HOWEVER, the program itself is essentially pointless because lectures are posted separately online through the course website where there is also a feature to have a discussion. As for the quizzes, my university already had us purchase "iClicker" which accomplishes that task in class. Having to make this purchase for class seems like a waste of money since the tasks that it is used for could have already been completed with resources that we already had.
